Dasmesh Girls College, an eternal link in the immortal chain of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Educational Trust, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian was established in December, 2000. It is an institution where learning is a religious habit. It aims at imparting value-based education. This seat of learning has been enunciating the gospels of Guru Gobind Singh in particular and the message of humanity in general.

The custodians in the field of education and the great philanthropists of the area got their dream materalised when they came forward with their mission of establishing the institution in the cradle of nature. The growth of the college became phenomenal when they contributed their might along with S. Prakash Singh Badal, the then Chief Minister, who showered his bounteous blessings on it on December 21, 2000. Since then this institution is inculcating the code of discipline and morality among students.

Dasmesh Girls College is housed in spacious pollution-free, picturesque and lush-green campus at a convenient distance from the town. A sense of splendour, beauty, discipline and academic excellence pervades the corridors of the campus.

At present, the college is having three triple-storeyed blocks, viz., Arts cum Administrative Block and the newly constructed Mata Gujri Block. The college has three sophisticated computer labs with all modern infrastructure required for extending quality-education to the students.

College library is the life and soul of this institution. It is fully computerized for various operations viz., Acquisition of books, cataloguing, classification, transaction (issue and return), enquiry etc. This Year the College spent Rs.150000 on the purchase of new books of different subjects i.e Commerce, English, History.

This college is being managed by the experienced members of the committee. Under the innovative leadership of its Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ravinder Chadha, herself a dazzling luminary in the field of education, this college is marching from strength to strength.

The Trust feels beholden to Sardar Varinder Singh Ji, the honorable Secretary of the College, who gave Rs 40,000 for the payment of five Students and track suits for the ethletes. His blessing in the shape of financial assistance will encourage the moral of the other students as well.

Sardar Amitpal Singh , NRI,denoted a mammoth sum of Rs.2 lac.in the memory of his late father Sardar Surinder Singh (Indian Oil Pump) on his death anniversary. We are thankful for his generosity.
